Priority / Priorities

We have a hell lot of priorities in life. Let it be in the comparison between relationship, friendship, work and even family. It's all depends on how each of us look at things. How we were taught since we were young. And also how our own personality, opinion and mindset. Humans differ from each and another. Don't we? We can hardly predict how a person think and control them. Please bare in mind that we ain't Dark Archon from StarCraft who can mind control any living being, although I wish I could.

I believed many of us who managed to lived up to this age understand this (=.=" like damn old like that). I mean, I'm pretty sure that we've experienced something that come to a point that we ourself have to choose and make some decisions. And that is when priority takes into consideration.

At work, in certain occasions and tasks that need us to be able to multitask. So that we, as employees of the company can be as productive as possible. But when there are two or more critical issues coming up, there is the time when we'll decide which to look into by its priority. Solve the highest priority first and solve the rest after it. In other words, those are the so called "low priority" issue.

The most common example is between relationship and friendship. Which mean between your girl friend / boy friend and your friends. Back during the schooling days, the only chance to hang out was during the weekends, Saturday in particular (thanks to co-curriculum). And I have even more choices to choose from.

dating??? ... and the list goes on and on...

But sad to tell, I am only one, and I could only choose one from all these. Sigh... =( But well, about which is the priority, you know I know larrr... ;-)

Apart from that, all these kind of comparison are still okay to me, however, the worst combination should be between family - relationship, family - work (career).

Does anyone ask any of you about the "if your mother and your wife/girl friend fall into the sea, who will you save first?" question. This might seems an answer for it but I'm sure everyone have their own set of answers. So who is your priority?



However there are some rare cases. Like recently, I've been keep coming up with some strange questions for myself. Something like, the ex that you loved so much, and your new partner; Old vs New.. If they happens to date you out at the same time, who would you choose to give up? who would you choose to go out with? and who would you give the priority to?



There are also people who sacrificed their career for their family. Just like my dad. =)



Please don't get me wrong, he didn't resign his job because of us. Its just that he refused to be transferred to other branches elsewhere in Malaysia. For the sake of our education and the environment that we grew up. They (parents) think that it's not a good idea for kids like us to keep changing their living environment. Thus, family is HIS priority. =)
